General terms and conditions for the use and contracting of the luggage locker service - Locker Burgos Bus Station

2. Purpose of the Service

Locker Burgos Bus Station offers a temporary luggage locker rental service through smart lockers located in Burgos. The service allows users to deposit their personal belongings in the lockers for the contracted period, thus facilitating their mobility in the city.

3. Acceptance of the General Terms

Use of the service implies full and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms. Locker Burgos Bus Station reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Modifications will be applicable from their publication on the official Locker Burgos Bus Station website.

4. Reservation and Access Process

  • Reservation: The user must make the reservation through the official Locker Burgos Bus Station website or at the locker itself, completing the corresponding form with truthful and up-to-date data.
  • Payment: Payment will be made using the methods enabled on the platform.
  • Confirmation: Once the payment is confirmed, the user will receive an email with the reservation details, including the assigned locker number and the access code.

5. Use of Lockers

  • Access: The user may access the locker during the contracted period, using the provided code.
  • Permitted Content: Depositing personal items that do not contravene current legislation or the restrictions established in these terms is permitted.
  • Prohibited Content: It is forbidden to deposit in the lockers:
    • Illegal objects.
    • Dangerous, flammable or polluting substances.
    • Animals or living beings.
    • Perishable food or food not properly packaged.
    • Cash, jewelry or objects of value exceeding [PENDING QUESTIONNAIRE] €.

6. User Responsibility

The user is responsible for the correct use of the locker and the objects deposited in it. Any damage caused to the locker by improper use will be attributable to the user, who must assume the repair or replacement costs.

7. Operating Hours

The lockers will be available for use during the following hours:

  • Opening Time: 0:00
  • Closing Time: 23:59

8. Rental Duration and Collection of Items

  • Minimum Duration: 1 Day
  • Late Collection: If the user does not collect their belongings at the end of the contracted period, Locker Burgos Bus Station may:
    • Access the locker to free up the space.
    • Keep the forgotten items for a period of up to two months (60 days), as permitted by article 615 of the Civil Code.
    • Apply a penalty corresponding to the standard daily rate of the occupied locker type.
    • Consider the items abandoned if they are not claimed within the legal period, proceeding to deliver them to the Lost Property Unit of the Local Police of Burgos.

9. Management of Forgotten Items

  • Notification to the User: If a forgotten item is detected in a locker, Locker Burgos Bus Station will notify the user, if possible, for its recovery.
  • Custody: Forgotten items will be kept by Locker Burgos Bus Station for a maximum period of 60 days, in accordance with current regulations.
  • Delivery to Authorities: After this period without the item having been claimed, Locker Burgos Bus Station will proceed to deliver it to the Lost Property Unit of the Local Police of Burgos.
  • Exceptions: Items that are unhealthy, dangerous, perishable or that, due to their nature, cannot be properly stored will not be accepted.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation Policy: Up to 24 hours in advance.
  • Refunds: In case of cancellation within the permitted period, the amount paid will be refunded within one working day.

11. Security and Surveillance

The Locker Burgos Bus Station facilities have security and surveillance systems to guarantee the integrity of the deposited belongings. However, Locker Burgos Bus Station is not responsible for losses or damages caused by reasons beyond its control.

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any conflict, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Burgos, waiving any other jurisdiction that might correspond to them.
